The view of the twin fortresses of Rocchette and Rocchettine, perched on the gorge carved into the rock by the river Hague, can be considered one of the most suggestive of Sabina. Rocchettine retains only the ruins of the original structure: there is an archway leading to a large courtyard (maybe the square of the village) and the Church of San Lorenzo, renovated in 1700.

Among the narrow streets you can still recognize the old houses, stables , wineries and shops .. Further down is the village of Rocchette: it has now lost its appearance of strength by taking the urban one. The great gateway, dated 1600 leads us to still inhabited village, the ancient structures blend with modern ones (the road cut directly into the stone) but inside everything has remained intact.
